Homeless Prevention

Short-Term Rent, Mortgage, and Utility Assistance

CANAPI offers up to 21 weeks per year of financial assistance for people living with HIV/AIDS in the form of rent, mortgage, and/or utility payments. In order to be eligible, applicants must be living with HIV/AIDS and experiencing a documented financial hardship.

These funds are used to prevent the loss of stable housing. All funds are paid directly to service providers or landlords and may be limited by the availability of funds and the frequency of assistance.

Supportive services are available for recipients to assist in achieving and maintaining housing stability.

If you think CANAPI’s Homeless Prevention program may be a good fit for you, please reach out to us at info@canapi.org or 330-252-1559.
